- The Third Tunnel
One of the places that vividly shows the reality of the division, it is also known as the Seoul Tunnel because of its proximity to the capital. The tunnel, dug by North Korea to invade South Korea, is 2 meters wide, 2 meters high, and 1,635 meters long, capable of moving 30,000 troops per hour. Walking through the tunnel, you find yourself just 170 meters from the Military Demarcation Line, within the DMZ.

A lookout within the Demilitarized Zone, Dora Observatory guards the northernmost part of the western front. Located 1.5 km from the Military Demarcation Line, it offers views of North Korean life, including the statue of Kim Il-sung, Kijong-dong, and the outskirts of Kaesong.
